Jaipur: After inflation relief camps, the government plans to organise beneficiary festivals across the state.
After reviewing the progress of inflation relief camps at the secretariat on Thursday, Chief secretary Usha Sharma directed that according to the intention of chief minister
Ashok Gehlot, soon beneficiary festivals will be organised in districts. Describing the progress of the camps as satisfactory, Sharma said that the set targets are being achieved in all the districts.
Sharma directed that it should be ensured that benefits are given to all eligible persons in relief camps. “Not even a single eligible person should be deprived of the benefits. It should also be ensured that this message is clearly conveyed to the general public that they must be registered to take advantage of the schemes. Fix the date for beneficiary festivals and send information to the respective collectors as soon as possible.”
It was told in the meeting that in the districts where up to 80% of registration has been done, the remaining 20% of people should be registered soon through permanent camps.
Earlier, in the review meeting, planning secretary Bhavani Singh Detha gave a presentation and informed about the progress of relief camps. He informed that more than a 60% enrolment target has been achieved in most of the schemes. In the meeting, discussions were held on establishing better coordination between various departments.
