PUNE: The result of the secondary school certificate (SSC, Std X) board exams conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education will be announced online at 1pm on Friday .
Over 15.77 lakh students from nine divisions, including Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Nagpur, Amravati, Latur, Konkan, Kolhapur, and Nashik had registered for the examination held in March 2023.
As compared to 2022, there were 61,000 fewer students. Of the total number, 8.44 lakh are boys and 7.33 lakh are girls who appeared from 23,010 secondary schools.
Secretary of the state board Anuradha Oak in his statement on Thursday said that students can log in with their seat numbers on the designated websites for their subject-wise results.
"Students who wish to re-evaluate their marks other than in subjects that are graded can apply online on the state board's website. Terms and conditions are on the online link," his statement added.
They can apply between June 3 and June 12 and for a photocopy of their answer sheets, between June 3 and June 22. Fees for these services can be paid online through debit or credit cards.
Those who wish to appear for the supplementary exam can make online applications on the website from June 7 onwards. Students will be able to seek the physical copies of their mark sheets from their schools on June 14 at 3pm.
Supplementary and class improvement scheme exams will be held in July-August. The dates will be announced later.
Fewer copying cases were reported in the SSC exams compared with the higher secondary certificate exams. The state had undertaken a copyfree exams campaign this year.
Following the declaration of the SSC result, the online Central Admission Pro cess for FYJC will gain momentum.
