President Murmu to make her maiden visit to Suriname, Serbia from June 4 to 9

President Droupadi Murmu is all set to make her maiden visit to the South American Nation Suriname and European Nation Serbia from June 4 to June 7, on the invitation of President Chandrikapersad Santokhi, and President Aleksandar Vučić informed Ministry of External Affairs on June 02. In the weekly press briefing, MEA Secretary (East) Saurabh Kumar said, “President Droupadi Murmu will pay a visit to Suriname from June 4 to 6, on the invitation of Chandrikapersad Santokhi, President of Suriname. During this visit President Murmu will hold special talks with President Santokhi and will also participate in several activities.” "President Droupadi Murmu will pay a visit to Serbia on June 7 at the invitation of Aleksandar Vučić, President of Serbia. This will be her first State visit after assuming office in July 2022," said Sanjay Verma, Secretary (West), MEA.
