Biden’s Trip and Fall: ‘I Got Sandbagged’

The frequent falls of an 80-year-old candidate are a voting concern.

Every political leader has pratfalls, but when they involve an 80-year-old Commander-in-Chief who wants to serve another six years, the moment is more fraught. President Biden tripped on a sandbag at the Air Force Academy graduation on Thursday, another in a series of stumbles. He seems to be fine, but if he’s re-elected in 2024 the nation will be holding its breath until he exits at age 86.
