U.S. Makes New Push in Trade Fight With Mexico Over GMO Corn

Dispute centers on Mexico’s effort to ban genetically modified corn over perceived risk to its heirloom varieties

WASHINGTON—The U.S. on Friday stepped up its efforts to get Mexico to ease its restrictions on genetically modified corn, after more than a year of high-level discussions between the two countries failed to resolve the dispute.
