Man held for attacking roommate

Mysuru: After learning that his roommate allegedly chatted with his girlfriend, a youth attacked him with a knife following an argument over the issue in Vidyaranyapuram police limits.
The accused, Shreyas, was detained by city police a day after he allegedly attacked his roommate Shivakumar with a knife near the Outer Ring Road and Nanjangud road junction. They stayed in rented rooms in Janata Nagara and the girl is a resident of a village in Mysuru taluk.
According to police, Shivakumar has sustained injuries on his shoulder and is being treated for the cut wounds.
