The live-action cameos were headlined by Andrew Garfield during Miguel O'Hara's explanation of the ASM-90 canon event, which revolves around the death of a police captain close to Spider-Man. To prove the point, Morales sees the footage of Captain Stacy dying at the hands of Garfield's Peter Parker in The Amazing Spider-Man.
ASM 90 also refers to the iconic November 1970 issue of The Amazing Spider-Man written by Stan Lee, where Captain Stacy dies after trying to save a child from the falling rubble of a building.
Another canon event that every Spidey has to go through is see the death of someone close, as he accepts the mask of Spider-Man. For Miles, it was his Uncle Aaron, and for Peter, it's his Uncle Ben. Just like Peter B. Parker is shown losing his own Uncle Ben, we also footage of Tobey Maguire's version losing his uncle.
Following his cameo as Uncle Aaron in Spider-Man: Homecoming, Glover makes a surprising cameo as his alter-ego The Prowler. However, it's unclear whether he's from the MCU or a parallel universe.
Lowenthal and the video game Spider-Man from the Insomniac made his presence felt in the film. It will be interesting to see whether the events of Across the Spider-Verse will be referenced in Marvel's Spider-Man 2. Additionally, in Morales' dorm room, you can also see Ganke facing a TV with gameplay footage of the Marvel PlayStation game.
Alongside Yuri Lowenthal, Spider-Man Spectacular also has a cameo, with the character voiced by the one and only, Josh Keaton.
After gaining new-found powers, The Spot manages to transport to other universes. This includes the LEGO Earth, as he shows up in front of The Daily Bugle office. The Spot also visited universes like the live-action Venom world, as he shows up at Mrs. Chen's store.
