The upcoming Honda Elevate has been testing in Japan for some time now. Recently, the SUV was spotted parked next to a Honda HR-V, giving us a rare opportunity to compare the two SUVs.
The Honda Elevate appears slightly larger compared to the HR-V, at least from this angle. The former has an upright front fascia and a more SUV-ish stance. The HR-V, which measures 4.3 meters in length & boasts a typical crossover look.
The Honda Elevate is all set to make its global debut on June 6. The mid-size SUV will be powered by the 1.5-litre petrol engine from the City, albeit in a higher state of tune. A strong-hybrid version is likely to arrive later, but it won't get a diesel engine option. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual and CVT.
In India, the Elevate will rival the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder and Kia Seltos.
