Interactive Brokers DARTs rise 5% from prior month, but drop 19% Y/Y

Interactive Brokers (NASDAQ:IBKR) saw daily average revenue trades (DARTs) of 1.860M in May, up 5% from the prior month and down 19% in the year-ago period, the company said Thursday.
Ending client equity of $345.1M edged up 1% from April and 10% from the year before. Ending client margin loan balances totaled $39.8B, 1% higher than the prior month and 10% lower than the prior year.
Also, ending client credit balances of $98.7B, including $2.9B in insured bank deposit sweeps, slipped 1% M/M and gained 8% Y/Y.
Client accounts mounted to 2.26M, up 2% M/M and 19% Y/Y.
Shares of the electronic broker advanced 1.7% in afternoon trading.
