Xiaomi 14 series: IMEI numbers reveal Xiaomi 14 Pro and flagship features

Xiaomi had introduced its flagships Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro in December, 2022. Following the same timeline it is expected that they will launch their next flagship Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro by the end of this year. But first it will be only in the home market viz. China. 

The confirmation of these two devices, Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro, came in the form of two phones with model numbers 23127PN0CC / 23127PN0CG and 23116PN5BC / 23116PN5BG appeared on IMEI database. 

It is believed that the Xiaomi 14 / 14 Pro models ending with C is the China model and the one with G is global. It has also been deciphered that the numbera 2312 and 2311 suggest that the phones will be launched in November or December of 2023.

The Xiaomi 14 series is rumoured to have one more addition along with the aforementioned two phones, which is the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. But no information for that has been revealed yet so it's safe to assume that it’s a closely guarded secret. 

So, certain rumours have given us a glimpse of what the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro might look like and certain specifications too. So, let's have a look at what the rumours depict

Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro: Rumoured design and specifications

Rumours say that the Xiaomi flagships will have flat and curved edge variants separately and the phones are to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. 

The rear camera of the phone is expected to be triple lensed at 50MP each and the primary one could be a 1-inch Sony IMX989. The camera is also expected to feature a periscopic zoom camera. Also, the front camera can supposedly record videos in 4K. 

As for.the battery, both the phones are expected to pack 5,000 mAh battery supported by 90W and 120W charging supports respectively. 

These are all leaks and rumours and cannot be completely believed until and unless Xiaomi makes an official announcement.
