Workshop on evolving corporate environ at BHU from tomorrow

Varanasi: The department of economics at BHU will organise a two-day programme ‘CorporateShala: 2023’ starting June 2, with an objective to provide students with knowledge and skills about the evolving corporate environment.
The academia-industry dialogue programme is aimed at pondering on various aspects of green energy and sustainable development.
Nidhi Sharma of the department informed that competitive events, including quiz, panel discussion, poster-making, article writing, business ideas, storytelling and stand-up comedy/poetry will be held on June 2. The events will not only promote healthy competition among students but also provide them with a platform to showcase their talents, creativity and skills in front of industry professionals.
On June 3, renowned personalities from the corporate industry will interact with students and answer their queries. Winners of the competitions will be honoured with medals and certificates.
She said that the aim of CorporateShala is to bridge the gap between academic education and professional requirements. It will provide students with an opportunity to connect with current business experts, participate in competitions and gain inspiration from acclaimed leaders. The event will enhance students’ knowledge, help them establish networks with industry specialists and provide a unique platform to plan their careers in the future.
