Apple TV+ is one of the best streaming platforms for new movies and shows, with a handful of these bright ideas brought to life through Apple’s exclusive partnership with A24, one of the most revered production houses operating today. And unlike its higher-priced competition from Netflix and Max (formerly HBO Max), Apple TV+ is only $6 per month.
Like any streamer though, it can be tough to keep up with Apple’s latest and greatest flicks and series, which is why we’ve put together this roundup of what’s new on Apple TV+ this month.

Our top picks for June
Tom Holland has already starred in an Apple TV+ production (the critically panned Cherry), but now the actor is returning for an all-new chilling series called The Crowded Room. Set in late ‘70s Manhattan, when Daniel Sullivan (Holland) is arrested for taking part in a New York City shooting, the youth is interrogated by Rya Goodwin (The Dropout‘s Amanda Seyfried).
It’s through these back-and-forth exchanges that Sullivan paints a portrait of his life up to this point, a history that culminates in the murder the show is hinged upon. The first three episodes of The Crowded Room premiere on Apple TV+ on June 9, with one new episode dropping each week until July 28.
Apple TV+ struck gold when they decided to produce original Peanuts content via the adorable outlet of everyone’s favorite pooch, Snoopy. The Snoopy Show is the program we’re talking about, and it launched all the way back in February 2021. With two full seasons and a holiday special in the can, another run of Snoopy Show episodes premieres on Apple TV+ on June 9. Channeling the heart and soul of Charles M. Schulz’s Peanuts comic strip and classic animations, The Snoopy Show finds the titular hound enjoying badminton, seeing scary movies with Woodstock, and longing for his old dog bowl.
A loose interpretation of NBA player Kevin Durant’s career, Swagger stars O’ Shea Jackson Jr. as Ike “Icon” Edwards, a gifted basketball player who may just have what it takes to rise through the ranks of sports stardom. Praised for its rich storytelling and excellent performances, the second season of Swagger lands on Apple TV+ on June 23, with one new episode premiering each week until August 11.

A big fan of dinosaurs, you say? Well then, it sounds like Prehistoric Planet is the show for you! Premiering in 2022, the phenomenal British-American documentary series presents a modern interpretation of what life was like when the mighty T. rex was roaming the jungles of the world. Narrated by Sir David Attenborough, season 2 arrives on Apple TV+ on May 22, with one new episode dropping daily from May 22 until May 26. Look forward to new segments on Islands, Badlands, Swamps, Oceans, and North America.
From acclaimed screenwriter Graham Yost, Silo is a new science fiction series coming to Apple TV+ on May 5. An episodic adaptation of Hugh Howey’s universe of Silo books, the series stars and is executive produced by Rebecca Ferguson. Our story takes place in a dystopian world where air at the surface is literally too dangerous to breathe, so the remains of humanity are forced underground.
Living in silos that descend for miles, the survivors are forced to contend with the rules, regulations, and discipline that one should expect from a post-apocalyptic saga.
Looking ahead on Apple TV+
Have you seen the trailer for Martin Scorsese’s long-awaited Killers of the Flower Moon adaptation? It looks incredible! But the thrills don’t stop there. This summer, Apple TV+ is also getting an all-new season of the spectacular sci-fi series Foundation (July 14), as well as a Beanie Baby movie called The Beanie Bubble (July 28) starring Zach Galifianakis and Elizabeth Banks.
