Share price of Mphasis rises as Nifty strengthens

Shares of MphasiS Ltd. gained 2.74 per cent to Rs 2012.15 in Thursday's trade as of 10:26AM (IST).

The stock hit a high price of Rs 2016.15 and low of Rs 1949.35 during the session.

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 20.64 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 10:26AM shares and turnover at Rs 2.33 crore around that time.

The stock of MphasiS Ltd. quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low prices of Rs 2700.0 and Rs 1660.65, respectively.

The Beta value of the counter, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 0.25.

Promoters held 55.63 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Mar-2023, while FIIs held 17.72 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 20.72 per cent.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 3403.82 crore for the quarter ended 31-Mar-2023, down 4.01 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 3546.19 crore and down 2.62 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 3316.82 crore.

Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 405.31 crore, up 3.38 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
