Shree Cements shares decline 0.19% as Sensex climbs

Shares of the Shree Cements Ltd. traded at Rs 25151.6 on BSE at 12:20PM (IST) on Thursday, down 0.19 per cent from previous close.

The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 17900.0 and a high of Rs 27013.0.

Earlier, the stock saw a gap up opening in the morning.

A total of 288 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 12:20PM (IST).

The stock of Shree Cements Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 90761.12 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 71.43, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 5.07. Return on equity (ROE) was at 6.81 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 360 stocks traded in the green, while 141 stocks were in the red.

Promoters held 62.55 per cent in the Shree Cements Ltd. as of 31-Mar-2023 while foreign portfolio investors and domestic institutional investors owned 12.82 per cent and 11.46 per cent, respectively.
