Directorate of Employment organises job fair for unemployed youths in Srinagar

Directorate of Employment organised a job fair at Amar Singh College in Srinagar. The aim of the initiative was to eradicate the issue of unemployment and bridge the gap between job providers of different sectors and unemployed youth. More than 2,500 job seekers participated in the event. 32 private companies offering 492 jobs participated. 570 candidates were shortlisted for the second round of the job fair. Counselling desks were set up by different companies of the health, education, insurance, banking, automobile, IT, and skilling sectors.
