GE HealthCare granted FDA nod for Precision DL to process medical imaging

- GE HealthCare (NASDAQ:GEHC) announced Tuesday that the FDA issued 510(k) clearance for Precision DL, a deep learning-based image processing software designed to enhance the quality of PET/CT imaging.
- Precision DL, an AI-based technology, is available on GE HealthCare's (GEHC) PET/CT system Omni Legend.
- It is the latest addition to the company's Effortless Recon DL portfolio, which leverages deep learning to improve image quality and enhance patient outcomes.
