Ranchi: Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority (JHALSA) on Monday launched the ‘Mann Ka Milan Pakhwara’ in order to encourage resolution of disputes through mediation.
Under the scheme, which will continue till June 14, posters, handbills, banners and video clippings have been put on display at court buildings, police stations and public places across the state to spread awareness among the warring parties on the advantages of mediation. The handbills are being handed over to all the litigants who are entering the courts.
The awareness campaign would also narrate the success stories of mediation to the people through video clippings. The warring groups can meet the mediators, police and the secretary of the district legal service authority to seek advise regarding mediation every day.
