‘Will visit Mumbai CP if action not taken’: Chhagan Bhujbal over ‘derogatory’ article on Savitribai Phule

Expressing ire over the ‘derogatory’ article on social reformer Savitribai Phule, Nationalist Congress Party leader Chhagan Bhujbal on May 30 in Mumbai informed that he has written a letter to the state CM and the Mumbai CP over the matter. Further, the NCP leader said that he will also visit the Mumbai CP and will ask to register a complaint if no action is taken. “I have written a letter to the CM and the Mumbai CP over the way the derogatory remarks are being made on Savitribai Phule. If no action is taken, I will visit the Mumbai CP’s office tomorrow and will ask him to register a complaint over the matter,” Bhujbal said. Triggering several angry reactions, a website published an article with ‘derogatory’ remarks on social reformer Savitribai Phule. Many expressed their disagreement with the article and demanded action.
