NU first term, odd sem to start from June 16

Nagpur: Nagpur University has released its much-awaited calendar for the academic year 2023-24 for lakhs of students.
The calendar has various timelines to be followed by the university for admissions, exams and vacations in the new academic session that would commence next month.
According to the schedule published by registrar Raju Hiwase, the first term and odd semester would commence from June 16 and continue till October 31. The month-long winter vacation would start from November 1 to 30. The second term, which is an even semester, will begin from December 1 and end on April 30, 2024.
Summer vacation will be from May 2 to June 16. The last day for admission for first term odd semester and first year is August 7. With the prior permission of the vice-chancellor, the last date for admission is September 7.
The commencement of exams of failure students in even semesters, regular students in odd semesters and failure students in the annual pattern will begin on October 16. The last date to submit exam forms for regular students (other than first year) and old ex-students is August 31. The deadline for form submission for ex-students of the immediate previous exams will be within 15 days from the date of declaration of the result of the summer exams.
Exams for failure students of odd semester, regular students of even semester, and failure and regular students of the annual pattern will commence from March 15, 2024. The last date to submit exam forms for regular students and old ex-students is February 15 next year. The last date for ex-students of the immediately previous exam will be 15 days from the date of declaration of the results of the winter exams.
The convocation of the winter batch of 2022 and summer 2023 will be held in December.
