Taximen told to file blue cab applications

Panaji: The state directorate of transport on Tuesday invited applications for contract carriage permits from taxi operators from Pernem who have previously submitted their forms. The move is expected to take forward the initiative to introduce blue cabs at the Manohar International Airport.
“Applications will be accepted from individuals who have previously submitted duly filled forms in response to the public notice published by the directorate of transport in newspapers dated May 1, 2023, and among these applications, priority will be given to applicants who were in possession of a motor vehicle at the time of submission of the application,” the public notice issued by the assistant director of transport, Pernem stated.
The applications are to be submitted along with valid motor vehicle documents and driving licence, among other requisite documents, between June 9 and 15 at the office of the assistant director of transport, Pernem.
