In relation to the Shahbad Dairy murder case, the friend of the victim clarified in an interview with ANI on May 30 that there was no religious aspect involved. However, he mentioned that the accused had been issuing threats to harm the victims. He stated, "There was no religious issue in this case. The victim informed me that his name was 'Sahil'. Although people may speculate that it was a religious matter based on the accused's name, it was not the case. The victim told me that he used to harass and threaten her, but I never anticipated such a tragic incident."
