The Cincinnati skyline and Ohio River.

Good morning, Cincinnati. I'm Carl Weiser, the editor overseeing The Enquirer's ongoing project on the Future of Downtown. It turns out you all have a lot of thoughts about downtown Cincinnati. Hundreds of you offered your opinion in our unscientific online poll, and today we presentthe results. Β

One of the poll questions we asked was: "What concerns you most about coming downtown?" Crime, panhandlers and parking were your top worries, but there was also "bad new architecture," "reckless electric scooter riders" and "sketchy people ... staring."

Check out the full poll results here, then stay tuned as we fact-check some of the perceptions of Downtown (is it really dangerous?) in upcoming stories. Oh, and plenty of you had nice things to say about Downtown, too: "No concern other than trying to decide where to go between so many new and exciting food and entertainment options."
