Winter Springs man killed in Bookertown shooting: Seminole Sheriff’s Office

A 29-year-old Winter Springs man died Monday after he and another man were shot in the Bookertown community just after noon, according to the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office.

The second man is reported in stable condition at a local hospital, according to Sheriff’s reports. Authorities said they are looking for a suspect.

Brandon Kaisean-Elijah Harris died after he was transported to a nearby hospital. Authorities did not release the name of the injured man.

The shooting happened at about 12:20 p.m. on Gilbert Street in the community just west of Sanford, according to the Sheriff’s Office. When deputies arrived, they found the two men who had been shot, according to reports.
