Mediatek Dimensity 9300 tipped to only feature powerful cores

Arm unveiled the high-power Cortex-X4 core yesterday for mobile processors alongisde the Cortex-A720 and Cortex-A520 cores. Mediatek followed to confirm its next Dimensity flagship 5G SoC will feature X4 and A720, as well as Immortalis-G720 GPU, but did not mention A520.
The leakster Digital Chat Station used their Weibo account to try and offer an explantion - there isn’t Cortex-A520 in the chipset; the Mediatek Dimensity 9300 will have an octa-core CPU with 4x Cortex-X4 + 4X Cortex-A720 architecture.

The chip will be built on the N4P process. It is a refined 4 nm next-gen solution, providing a performance boost and power efficiency improvements over the N5 and N4 processes.
According to the leakster, the Dimensity 9300 would beat the eventual Apple A17 Bionic in a head-to-head comparison and will also reduce power consumption by 50%, compared to “the previous generation”.
It is far more likely for the Dimensity 9300 to follow the 1+5+2 configuration, but if Mediatek is really willing to put four super cores in their CPU, we might see the beginning of a revolution in chipset development. For now, we are staying reserved to such bold claims and will wait for the actual products to appear before getting overly excited.

The irony is they are the same people that will complain later that things are barely changing If anything we should be excited when the possibility for a big change come around You'd think that tech enthusiast of all people would look...

Because American media very hostile against non-us chip "no mods" "no custom OS" "mediatek cheat" "every game optimize for danesa the mother dragon chip"

Let mediatek do the testing.. If it works out then surely snapdragon will copy it.
