Jaipur: Thousands of people from the Prajapati Kumhar community attended the ‘mahakumbh’ of the community at the city's Vidhyadhar Nagar Stadium on Sunday. The community demanded 10 tickets each from both Congress and
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for representatives from the Prajapati Kumhar samaj in the upcoming assembly elections in the state and two tickets each in the Lok Sabha elections.
They also demanded a public
holiday from the state government on Shri Yade Mata’s Jayanti, formation of a separate Shri Yade Mata Board and appointment of a chairman from the Prajapati community in the Mati Kala Board.

Pankaj Singh, director of NIMS hospital, Jaipur, participated in the maha kumbh and said free medical treatment would be made available to people belonging to the Prajapat Samaj at the hospital.
