Sr citizen killed in hotel room by juvenile waiter

THANE: A 65-year-old man from Thane was allegedly killed at a hotel by a juvenile waiter on Saturday. Cops have launched a manhunt to nab the accused. The deceased has been identified as Karabhai Suva. A senior officialsaid around 1pm, the victim was stabbed in the face with a sharp weapon, and later choked by the accused.
"Based on the CCTV footage, the accused is seen coming out of the victim's room," said a police officer, adding that following the crime, the accused asked for Rs 3,000 from the owner who was unaware of the crime, and fled. "Prima facie, the motive seems to be robbery," said the official.
