Share price of Adani Power falls as Nifty strengthens

Shares of Adani Power Ltd. slipped 0.47 per cent to Rs 256.85 in Monday's trade as of 01:06PM (IST).

The stock hit a high price of Rs 262.0 and low of Rs 256.15 during the session.

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 89.48 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 01:06PM shares and turnover at Rs 10.08 crore around that time.

The stock of Adani Power Ltd. quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low prices of Rs 432.8 and Rs 132.55, respectively.

The Beta value of the counter, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 2.84.

Promoters held 74.97 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Mar-2023, while foreign investors held 11.7 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 0.01 per cent.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 10795.32 crore for the quarter ended 31-Mar-2023, up 30.22 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 8290.21 crore and up 18.88 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 13307.92 crore.

Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 5242.48 crore, up 12.85 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
