PM Modi is first PM to encourage Tamil culture in Parliament: Harihara Desika Swamigal

The head priest of Madurai Adheenam, Sri Harihara Desika Swamigal who presented the ‘Sengol’ to Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the inauguration of the new Parliament building, said that PM Modi always stood proudly with the Tamil culture and Tamil people. He also mentioned that PM Modi encouraged the Tamil culture in the Parliament. While speaking to ANI, Harihara Desika Swamigal said, “I feel very proud to participate in the inauguration ceremony of the new Parliament building. PM Modi has always stood proudly with the Tamil culture and Tamil people. PM Modi is the first PM who invited Tamil Adheenams and proudly encourages the Tamil culture in the Parliament.”
