Nagpur: In-form Ruby Colts boys got the better of Dr Ambedkar College
Sports Academy (DACSA) by 16 runs to win the under-14 cricket tournament organized by
Mahi Sanskrutik Krida Mandal.
After opting to field, DACSA bowled well to restrict Ruby Colts for 161 runs in stipulated 30 overs. Aryan Bais contributed 35 runs, while Dreyash Rajput scored 33 runs for the champion side.
For DACSA, Atharv Patel took 3 wickets for 34 runs in 6 overs. He got able support from Praval Bambal, who took two for 17 runs in 6 overs.
In reply, DACSA outfit was restricted to 145 all out. Ahaan Pandey top-scored with 24 runs. Viraj Maheshwari made 23.
For Ruby, Dhruv Pise took important 4 wickets giving away 32 runs. Nishank Bagde also bowled well for his 3-wicket haul.
Pise was declared man of the final for his excellent bowling performance under pressure.
Aryan, who scored 357 runs in the tournament, was declared man of the series.
