Mother-daughter duo killed in freak accident

Wardha: A woman and her one-and-a-half-year-old daughter were killed in a freak road accident near Bazarwada village on Saturday. Nilima Sayam (27) her daughter Tanushka came under the rear wheel of a tanker after falling off a bike and were killed on the spot.
Police said that Rajkumar Sayam was taking his wife and twin daughters on a two-wheeler from Virul to Nerpingalai in Morshi of Amravati district for a wedding ceremony. Near Bazarwada Fata, Nilima’s sari got entangled in the wheel of the bike due to which Rajkumar lost control over the two-wheeler.
As four of the Sayam fell on the road, Nilima and Tanushka were crushed under the rear wheel of a tanker that was overtaking the ill-fated bike at the precise moment. Rajkumar and the other daughter, who was sitting in front, were injured in the accident.
