Hemant to attend Niti meet chaired by PM Modi today

RANCHI: Jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren will attend the Niti Aayog’s eighth governing council meeting to be chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Saturday, the state government said on Friday.
His Bihar counterpart, Nitish Kumar, will, however, skip the meet. An official said Soren is already in Delhi to attend the meeting. Meanwhile, a cabinet minister in Bihar said, “ (Nitish) will not attend the meeting. He does not have any programme to visit Delhi on Saturday. Nitish will be the fourth CM to abstain from the meeting .”
