Actress Anushka was asked by what name she has saved her husband Kohli's number on her phone. She chuckled and said, "Pati parmeshwar (husband)", and continued, 'oji and suniye ji'. Further Sharma imitated Kohli's expression during celebration moments. Sharma jumped and shouted on the stage like Kohli and said, "Sometimes he (Virat Kohli) is more excited than a bowler".
The duo elevated the pun during the event when Anushka spoke the dialogue from her second movie 'Band Baaja Baaraat' and Virat answered back in actor Ranveer Singh's style.
Anushka asserted, "Payar, Vyapaar ki jodi kabhi ni baithti. Nah Bhaiya, main toh single hi best hu (Mixing business with love always turns into a failure. No brother! I am fine being single).
Immediately, Kohli retorted, "Business kar le mere saath, bread pakode ki kasam. Kabhi dhoka nahi dunga (Please become my business partner. I will never betray your trust).

Yesterday, Sharma made her red carpet debut at the 76th Cannes Film Festival. The Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi actress wore an off-shoulder ivory Richard Quinn Couture gown and paired it with heels from Gianvito Rossi and a luminous unique piece pear shaped white and yellow diamond drop earrings along with yellow and white diamond rings from Chopard. Anushka is present at Cannes Film Festival 2023 to honour women in cinema. She will be joined by popular actor Kate Winslet.
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli married in December 2017. They welcomed daughter Vamika in 2021. Recently, Kohli was seen talking to his wife Anushka Sharma over a video call after scoring a century against Sunrisers Hyderabad in an IPL match. Anushka also praised his husband for his amazing knock. Taking to Instagram, she shared a collage image on her stories and wrote, "He is (a bomb emoticon). What an inning."
