Wrestlers to hold women's mahapanchayat in front of new Parliament building on Sunday, says date chosen by farmer organization

In the ongoing controversy surrounding the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, Wrestler Sakshee Malikkh said that they the protest has been receiving support from females around the country and that they will continue to protest peacefully even if the Government decides to use force on us. Mahapanchayat coinciding with that of the inauguration of new Parliament building, Wrestler Satyawart Kadian said that the decision was taken by the farmer organization. As part of their ongoing battle against Brij Bhushan, the protesting wrestlers have planned to hold a women's Mahapanchayat, or grand assembly, infront of the new Parliament building on Sunday. Coinciding with the day of its inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, this gathering aims to further draw attention to their cause.
