Panaji: The direcorate of health services has partnered with Round Glass, a free holistic well-being app to help with well-being practices such as yoga, cooking, music, and meditation.
Health minister Vishwajit Rane on Friday announced his department’s tie-up with the wellness app. “Our lives could be less stressful, we could sleep better, lead a healthier life, and experience more joy by putting our well-being first,” he said.
Rane, however, did not explain how and when the app would come into operation. This has been one of the the first initiatives by the health department, though over the last few years health services through its ayush wing have started many initiatives that could be bracketed as wellness.
At primary health centres, yoga classes are conducted, while efforts are on to offer other services as well.
