Man who beheaded wife in jail custody

Berhampur: A 36-year old man, who allegedly beheaded his wife at Sara village in Gajapati district’s Kashinagar police station limits on Thursday, was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on Friday. The accused, Chandra Sekhar Karjee, was produced in the judicial magistrate first class (JMFC) court, Kashinagar. Karjee, a daily labourer, killed his wife, Urmila Sahu (30), suspecting her of having an illicit relationship. Police have handed over the two-year-old son of the couple to family members. TNN
