Ulhasnagar: Shiv Sena's Janta Colony ward president stabbed to death

ULHASNAGAR: Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena's shakha pramukh (ward president) of Janta Colony, Shabbir Shaikh, was stabbed to death by seven men in Ulhasnagar late on Friday night.
The CCTV footage showed seven people entering the Janta Colony with handkerchiefs tied on their faces, where they killed Shaikh by attacking him with a sharp weapon.
According to the police, the murder took place due to old enmity.
The police suspect role of a city-based man with whom Shaikh had old enmity.
Shaikh was also operating matka (gambling) den.
