Detailed investigation report submitted against Edappadi K Palaniswami

Coimbatore: The central crime branch of Salem city police on Friday filed an investigation report against former chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswami for providing wrong information about his wealth and educational qualification in the 2021 election affidavit. The report was submitted before the Salem judicial magistrate court-I.
The central crime branch police had registered a first information report against Palaniswami more than two weeks ago. Meanwhile, the court sought a detailed report from the central crime branch police on or before May 26.
Accordingly, they submitted a detailed investigation report before the judicial magistrate on Friday. Further investigation is on.
