Cop suspended after ‘scuffle’ with magistrate

Nagpur: Rajesh Khandwe, a senior inspector from Chamorshi, was on Thursday suspended for allegedly engaging into a scuffle with a magistrate at his bungalow.
According to sources, the magistrate had on May 20 passed an order under Section 156 (3) of the CrPC to register an offence against Khandwe following a complaint by a politician Atul Gyanarpawar, reports Soumitra Bose.
Khandwe was awarded medals for his role in fight against Maoists in Gadchiroli.
