The Mahila Gram Seva Sahakari Samiti will be constituted in every block of Rajasthan and for this the state government will bear the cost of Rs 10.53 crore.
According to a government notification, the objective for the formation of Mahila Gram Seva Sahakari Samiti is to empower women. The area of operation of the cooperative shall be at least one gram panchayat.
It further reads, the minimum members and contribution amount would be 300 and three lakh respectively.
The Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved the draft action plan for the formation of these cooperatives.
