Man mudered over love affair

Rajkot: A 22-year-old man of Kutch was killed by two brothers over suspicion that the man was having a love affair with the sister of the accused. The victim was identified as Soyeb Sama of Khavda near Bhuj. Police said the accused — Aslam Sama and Altaf Sama — had seen Soyeb’s messages on the mobile phone of their sister. The two brothers went to Soyeb’s house on Wednesday and after a heated argument with him there, they stabbed him.
Biker killed in accident, 2 others injured
Rajkot: One biker was killed and two other bikers were injured when a truck hit them in Rangpar village near Morbi on Thursday. According to police, the truck driver lost balance while trying to overtake from the wrong side and hit two bikes. The deceased was identified as Ashok Gupta who worked in a ceramic unit. His pillion rider Ajay Jat received injuries. Another biker, Vasim Sanghi, received head injuries and fractures in his hands.
