Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Reliance Power(number of shares traded: 12.21 crore), Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 4.38 crore), Zomato(number of shares traded: 3.33 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 2.80 crore), Indian Railway Fin(number of shares traded: 2.20 crore), IDFC First Bank(number of shares traded: 1.48 crore), BHEL(number of shares traded: 1.16 crore), Ibull Housing Fin(number of shares traded: 1.06 crore), Ircon Intl.(number of shares traded: 1.04 crore) and Zee Ent.(number of shares traded: 0.97 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:14AM in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 57.5 points up at 18378.65, while BSE Sensex was up 207.39 points at 62080.01 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, Reliance Industries Ltd.(up 1.75 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.26 per cent), UPL Ltd.(up 1.24 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(up 1.21 per cent) and Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.19 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 1.87 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 1.29 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 1.03 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 0.84 per cent) and Axis Bank Ltd.(down 0.47 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
