Every talking head on TV has an opinion on the debt ceiling, but the discussion should be about the debt itself (“A Less-Bad Option for the Debt-Ceiling Crisis” by Alan Blinder, op-ed, May 19). Can any politician fit the number “31 trillion” in his brain? They should talk more about reducing the national debt, not about raising it.
