Being a woman or being born in a tribal society is not a bad thing: Draupadi Murmu

President of India Draupadi Murmu attended the Self-Help Group Women Conference which was organized by the Union Ministry of Tribal Affairs on May 25 in Khunti, Jharkhand. While addressing the conference, Draupadi Murmu said that she is very proud that she is a woman and that she was born in a tribal family and that there is nothing wrong in belonging from a tribal family. “I would like to tell you all that being a woman or being born in a tribal society is not a bad thing. My story is in front of you all. I am proud to be a woman and born in a tribal society,” said Draupadi Murmu.
