    NEW DELHI: Shares of Mazda Ltd, Voltamp Trans, Lakshmi Finance, Andhra Cements and Mrs. Bectors Food Sp, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:45AM(IST)on NSE.

    Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 71.35 points to 18392.5 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

    However, stocks such as Page Industries, Bombay Metrics Suppl, Quicktouch Technolog, Power & Instrument and Oswal Green Tech, touched their fresh 52-week low.

    Overall, 34 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 15 traded in the red.

    In the Nifty 50 index, RIL, Hindalco, UPL, Divis Labs and Wipro were among top gainers, while ONGC, Grasim Inds., Power Grid, Bharti Airtel and Axis Bank traded in the red.

    The BSE Sensex was trading 242.07 points up at 62114.69 at 10:45AM(IST).

    Traders were seen piling up positions in Industrial Equipment, Telecommunications, Trading, Diversified and Learning & Education sectors, while selling was visible in Apparels, General, Media & Entertainment, Term Lending Institutions and Gas & Petroleum sectors.
