Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks down as market falls

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading lower on Thursday at 11:17AM

Bohra Industries(up 4.21%), G S F C(up 2.93%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(up 2.31%), KRISHANA(up 0.88%), Aries Agro(up 0.84%), Madras Fertlizers(up 0.44%) and Paradeep Phosphates(up 0.29%) were among the top gainers.

Sikko Industries(down 9.98%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(down 4.17%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 1.98%), Rama Phosphates(down 1.62%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 1.46%), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals(down 1.14%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 0.93%), Agro Phos(down 0.71%), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (down 0.60%) and Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals(down 0.47%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 32.85 points down at 18252.55, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 101.23 points at 61672.55 at around 11:17AM.

Bharti Airtel(up 2.61%), Bajaj Auto(up 2.2%), ITC(up 1.67%), Divis Laboratories(up 1.06%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 1.04%), Britannia Industries(up 0.91%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 0.78%), Apollo Hospitals Enterprises(up 0.69%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(up 0.63%) and Nestle India(up 0.61%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Adani Enterprises(down 2.37%), Tata Motors(down 1.7%), Hindalco Industries(down 1.57%), Mahindra & Mahindra(down 1.0%), UPL Ltd(down 0.96%), Tata Consultancy(down 0.92%), HDFC(down 0.88%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(down 0.8%), Wipro(down 0.78%) and IndusInd Bank(down 0.74%) were trading in the red.
