Rathore should step down immediately, says Dotasra
Jaipur: State Congress president Govind Singh Dotasra on Wednesday demanded the resignation of Leader of Opposition Rajendra Singh Rathore for his allegations of corruption worth thousands of crores of rupees in DoIT under CM Ashok Gehlot’s watch.
Dotasra said BJP state chief CP Joshi had made a direct allegation at the BJP headquarters the other day saying Vasundhara Raje’s government was steeped in corruption. Since Rathore was a minister in that government, Dotasra said the BJP leader should resign immediately on moral grounds.
“BJP state president CP Joshi said that the game was going on since 2013. At that time there was a BJP government. Rajendra Rathore was a minister in the Vasundhara government. How can he give himself a clean chit?” asked Dotasra.
The Congress leader said since the BJP state president said there was corruption in the government led by Vasundhara Raje, Rathore should first come out clean before levelling allegations against the Gehlot government.
On the paper leaks, Dotasra said there were 11 paper leaks during BJP rule, yet appointments were made.
