Traffic planning cell inaugurated

Salem: The city police inaugurated a traffic planning cell (TPC) to assist vehicle users. TPC personnel will roam across the city and alert vehicle users about traffic jams, commissioner of police B Vijayakumari said. “They will assist road users and guide them to alternate roads,” she said. “They will also collect data about traffic congestion to offer a smooth ride.” Deputy commissioner of police Goutam Goyal and traffic wing officers participated in the event.
