Rishad Premji, the executive chairman of Wipro, has taken a voluntary cut in his compensation for the fiscal year 2023, as per a recent filing made to the Securities and Exchange Commission in the US.

He has made $951,353 in total annual compensation for financial year ended March 2023, which is almost 50 per cent ($8,67,669) less than his previous year's earnings. In 2022, Premji's compensation as executive chairman of the Board was $1,819,022.
