Nalco registers 1,544cr net profit

Bhubaneswar: National Aluminium Company Ltd (Nalco) has posted a net profit of Rs 1,544 crore in the financial year of 2022-23. It also received the highest revenue from operations of Rs 14,255 crore. The company’s bauxite excavation touched the highest of 75.51 lakh tonnes. It produced 21.23 lakh tonnes of alumina hydrate against a capacity of 21 lakh tonnes, a 101.1% capacity utilisation. Nalco also achieved the highest metal sale of 4.64 lakh tonnes, which includes the highest domestic sales.TNN
