Jaipur: A special team of Sikar police on Wednesday arrested two notorious shooters of the Rohit Godara gang who went underground after firing at a jewellery shop in Churu’s Sujangarh.

Karan Sharma said that Gopal Dan Charan (22), and Likhma Ram alias Vikram, both residents of Nagaur, had come to Sikar to execute a major criminal scheme. “The accused had fled to
Haryana after firing at a jewellery shop in Churu last month. The two accused had come to Sikar at the behest of another accused,” Sharma said, adding that police have recovered two pistols from the accused.
The
Rajasthan police had announced a reward of Rs 50,000 each on any information leading to the arrest of the accused.
Police officers said that the accused were associated with notorious gangster Rohit Godara.
